We design supports that are flexible and responsive to individual needs and goals
new to supports brokerage?
Supports Brokerage is a service that gives individuals with developmental disabilities greater control over their own support. Rather than having services assigned to them, people work with a Supports Broker to help them plan, budget, select, and manager their own care team.
We walk people with disabilities and their families through every step of the self-direction process. We also utilize a number of outstanding programs such as Charting the Life Course and a Culture of Gentleness to help a person discover what they want to achieve, and help them plan how to make it become a reality.

MATHEWS SUPPORTS
KRISTEN MATHEWS, FOUNDER & DIRECTOR
Mathews Supports was created to provide intentional, person-centered services within New Jersey's DDD system. Kristen has extensive experience in Community-Based Supports, Individual Supports, Supports Brokerage, and Advocacy.
Working collaboratively with individuals, families and Support Coordinators, with a focus on clarity, coordination, and alignment across support teams.
Kristen has presented both nationally and internationally at Gentle Teaching, Charting the Life Course, SHA (Supported Housing Association), NJ Self Direction, and TASH Conferences.
Kristen's brother Richard was the inspiration for her career, and she is actively involved in the agency's daily operations and service delivery.
